More than 100 unarmed Nabi Saleh demonstrators, including children carrying Palestinian flags, marched from the mosque to the gas station and down the hill toward the gate of the village. The Israeli army took battle positions behind their jeeps and armored vehicles against the peaceful unarmed chanting group and a nearby donkey and its colts.
One man from Khirbet Sir fell from the ladder while climbing the Apartheid Wall for work opportunities, and broke a bone. To stop emigration and reduce the risks for the people of the village, women started an economical project.
Faced with the threat of unarmed children waiving Palestinian flags and holding posters of political prisoners, the Israeli army attacked the non-violent protesters during the weekly protest in Nabi Salih.
